“Dear Lisboa,” is the beginning of a letter that doesn't know if it's a love or a farewell letter.
Like an open letter to the city that became my home, this short film is an intimate immersion in the intricacy of my relationship with Lisbon.
Using archive footage from my phone, this visual letter unveils the highs and lows of our connection: each discarded beginning and every internal monologue, reflects not only the relationship between me and Lisbon, but a personal journey of self-exploration.
Change is part of evolution. Routines and rhythms morph and accelerate. But it’s in contemplating the small details of everyday life that I find my anchor, while I navigate a city that I sometimes have difficulty recognizing, but that I still love.
