Long-term photographic crossmedial project composed of an exhibition at Jewish Museum of Venice and a docu-reportage dedicated to the celebration of the 500 years of the Ghetto of Venice.
The exhibition consisted of 13 photographic portraits by Paolo della Corte and a documentary divided in 7 chapters, each one dedicated to a specific topic related to the jewish ghetto’s tradition, history or people: The cuisine, Pesach, Jewish traditions, Objects and memories, Mathematics and Gematria, The Venice Ghetto, Family history.
The private stories of some of the protagonists of the Italian Jewish Community form a choral story of the fundamental contribution of the Italian Jews to the cultural, intellectual and artistic life of the country, showing the exchanges and interactions with the surrounding society.
